Description This infrared sensor emits infrared using infrared emitting diodes, when no infrared rays are reflected back, the phototransistor is put in the off state, and the output terminal of the module becomes high, indicating that the diode is in the off state. If the object is within detection range, and the intensity of the reflected infrared rays is large enough, the phototransistor becomes saturated, and the output terminal of the module is low, which then lights the LED.
