Description and Specification
The obstacle avoidance sensor uses infrared reflection principle to detect obstacles.
When there is no object in front the infrared-receiver cannot receive signals when there is an object in front it will block and reflect infrared light then the infrared-receiver can receive signals.
The module can operate from 3.3v to 5v and has a potentiometer to adjust the effective range from 2 to 30cm
The sensor module output can be directly connected to a microcontroller IO and can also directly drive a 5V relay.
