The VL53L1X is an infrared time of flight sensor developed by ST-Microelectronics is part of an IR TOF family of sensors. At the present time it is the most advance and best performing sensor available for the price bracket and is ideal for obstacle detection, gesture recognition, distance measurement, etc
These sensors are mounted on a high quality breakout board with integrated voltage regulator and level shifters ready to be incorporated into any project. Be aware that each sensor has an orange film protective cover that should be removed before use.
